Dr. Spyros Panos: Helping improve lives through orthopedic surgery

Dr. Spyros Panos is a gifted orthopedic surgeon who has helped many people overcome injuries and orthopedic issues. His success in the field of orthopedic surgery may be credited to his impressive academic background: he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the City College of New York, with honors in Biology, in 1989. In 1993, he obtained his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and was elected into the school's Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His post-graduate training was also extensive, starting from his internship at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center from 1993 to 1994, where he was a recipient of the Intern of the Year Award. Dr. Panos was also a recipient of the Academic Competition Award in 1994, during his residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Dr. Spyros Panos has helped many patients with their orthopedic conditions, having practiced orthopedic surgery for many years. His subspecialty interests include joint reconstruction, which refers to the management and surgical treatment of bone and joint problems, including hip and knee replacement surgery. Other subspecialty interests include trauma surgery, a surgical specialty that involves invasive treatment of physical injuries resulting from accidents or physical trauma, as well as sports medicine, which involves the management and treatment of injuries that athletes usually encounter during training or actual sports competitions, such as sprains, muscle strains, ligament tears, dislocations, broken bones, and joint and bone damage.
